Dineo Makoro, a native of Jamela village, is the co-founder and President of Sego Sa Lesedi Foundation, bringing her dedication to the organization’s mission of educational empowerment. Her academic pursuits have led her to a path of continual growth, currently focusing on her Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics at the University of Johannesburg.
Dineo’s professional journey is marked by a diverse range of experiences, including roles in business analysis, lecturing, and data science within the healthcare and banking sectors. Her expertise contributes significantly to the foundation’s vision and impact.
Beyond her professional endeavors and research commitments, Dineo finds joy in spending quality time with her family. She is also an advocate for personal wellness, actively engaging in weightlifting, and occasionally indulging her passion for video games.
Nqobile Mkhize

Nqobile is described to have an eye for detail. This analytical trait paired with her love for learning more about various concepts led to her pursuing a BSc. Mathematics of Finance as well as a BCom. Honours in Business Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand. She is rooted in continuous self-development, which is why she continues to pursue postgraduate studies.
Her altruistic nature has led to her playing an active role in her community through activism and volunteering. She has worked with various youth enrichment programs and has participated in a social justice summit. Nqobile is also a firm believer in recreating for others the same opportunities that were created for her.

As the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Sego Sa Lesedi Foundation, he channels his passion into the development of high-quality, decolonized education across all levels of study. His deep commitment to education and knowledge transfer is a driving force behind his work.
Dr. Mathibele firmly believes that a well-educated African nation is the key to addressing the challenges facing Africa and its people. His dedication to this mission underscores his desire to contribute to the betterment of Africa and the empowerment of its citizens through education.

Christopher’s Journey: From a Rural Village to a Visionary in Information Technology
Christopher’s roots trace back to the rural village of Apel in the Limpopo Province. He embarked on an educational journey that ignited his passion for Information Technology, earning a B.Tech in Information Technology (Software Development) from C.U.T. He continued to deepen his expertise by obtaining an MSCD in C# from Torque IT, where he gained a profound understanding of software development, engineering, and architectural principles.
Christopher’s ardor for Information Technology extends to the entire industry. His visionary goal is to witness every South African child, even those residing in remote villages, equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to harness the potential of computing.
Risuna Nkolele
Social Media Manager

Risuna is a visionary with a unique blend of expertise in artificial intelligence and psychology. With an unwavering commitment to understanding human behaviour and leveraging cutting-edge technology, she has carved a distinguished career path that bridges the gap between human cognition and machine learning. The University of Witwatersrand has awarded Risuna a master’s degree in e-science. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of South Africa, with plans to specialize in cognitive science and artificial intelligence. Outside of her professional life, Risuna is impassioned about fostering an environment in which individuals can heal and rediscover their identities.
Risuna is a firm believer in education, knowledge sharing, and providing opportunities to underprivileged and under sourced individuals. She has channeled her agitations through her volunteering as a teacher in the children’s ministry of her church, by constantly sharing information and resources with her community, and by providing funding for children in her home to receive extra classes in the subject they are struggling with.
